I need your help ladies...it is time to move William up to a bigger carseat. What would you suggest? So far I have heard that I need the Britax Marathon because it is the safest carseat you can buy. I know that it can be used up to 65 pounds. Any other opinions out there???
This past Saturday, we hosted William's First Birthday Party at our home. It was such a special day! Thanks to all of you who came and celebrated the first year of William's life with us. Each one of you are so special to us, and we are so thankful that William has you in his life. William loved eating his birthday cake and playing with all of his friends. William's official birthday is Wednesday, so I am sure I will have a special post for that day. In the meantime, enjoy the pictures (WARNING: there are a lot of them).
I was walking with William this morning (yes, I was the only member of the HMWC to show up!), and I got about half way and wanted to turn around, but something made me keep walking. To my surprise, I see Sarah & Ford coming to meet us!!! It made me smile to see these two. The last time Sarah & I walked, she went into labor that night! She looks absolutely amazing (you wouldn't even know she had a baby)! We talked and walked and it just made my day. Keep praying for the Martin family, and that sweet Luke will get to come home in the next few days!
This past Wednesday, we enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Muncie's home. Will was working late, so William was my date. We had so much fun, and we were able to see our sweet friends Ruth Ann & Mattie Fite. Thanks Mandy for the cute picture of us girls!
We spent July 4th with the Barron Family at Lake Martin. On Friday, the Thompson fam came for the day. And on Saturday, Aunt Lexie came down to get some sun and to love on William. It was nice to get away for the weekend, and William enjoyed playing with his cousin, Douglas.
Vivian invited us over for a playdate this morning. The kids had lots of fun and so did the moms! I can't believe how big these three are. Thanks Vivian and Luke for such a great time.
