Spring Break

A couple of weeks ago, the kids and I headed to Dothan for spring break. Will joined us for the weekend. William got his early birthday gift from Daddy Ben and Kat, and it may be his most favorite toy ever! He rides it EVERY day still! William came down with another stomach bug that week, but still wanted to ride his "backhoaderloader." We ended the weekend by celebrating Emmy's birthday.

Only one to go

I can't believe Ava is 11 months old today! That means only one more month until my sweet girl turns the big ONE! I really don't remember life without her. She is the sweetest, easiest baby in the entire world! She adores her Daddy and big brother. She eats most any food (using her 8 teeth) and loves her bed!!! The only time she pitches a fit is when she wants to go outside and can't. She is crawling very fast and has been since her Kat and Aunt Lexie showed her how at 9 months. She will stand alone for a few seconds, but hasn't been brave enough to take a step yet. What did we do without you precious girl? Happy 11 month birthday sweet Ava!

Saddle Up

William and I headed to a western birthday party today at Sandy's Stables. William, the animal lover, had so much fun! He wouldn't ride a pony by himself, but I did manage to get him to ride in the buggy a few times. And his new t-shirt was a hit!

Surprise

We were treated to a sweet surprise Friday morning, when Kat appeared at our door with hot donuts! I think sweet Ava enjoyed them as much as William. Kat promised William a trip to the tractor store to buy an excavator. They were all out of the normal sized ones, so $60 later, William took home a GIANT excavator! Yes, he is a little spoiled by his Kat and Daddy Ben, but I guess that is what "grands" do. He has played with it non stop! Such a fun weekend!
